7/06/09 - "Journey to the Stars," the spectacular new show at the American Museum of Natural History's Hayden Planetarium, has opened to rave reviews. In the New York Times, Dennis Overbye writes, "'Journey' is easily the most beautiful planetarium show I have ever seen and the most vertiginous." He continues, "Half an hour after the show ended, my head was still spinning." Adam Phillips writes, "The dramatic original music in the "Journey to the Stars" show complements the exploding supernovas, star clusters and other stellar images projected on the planetarium's dome, all of which are based on precise mathematical models and actual astronomical observations." 5/01/09 - Robert Miller takes another CLIO award for his work on "Heist" for Coca-Cola, which premiered during the Super Bowl. Congratulations!





4/24/09 - Robert's latest film, The Lost Son of Havana, premiered with great success at the Tribeca Film Festival last night. The Farrelly Brothers and Luis Tiant himself were in attendance. Robert is very proud of his score for this film. One reviewer notes the thoughtful production of the film, "down to the wonderful score." Stay tuned for word on where this terrific documentary is headed!





2/4/09 - The blogosphere is buzzing about Robert's current projects. Upcoming Film Scores is particularly excited about Happy Tears, which reunites Robert with director Mitchell Lichtenstein.

1/27/09 - Exciting things are happening this season at RMI! Three of Robert's latest film projects are set to premiere in the coming months. First up, The Caller, starring Frank Langella and Elliott Gould, will make its debut on Februaray 13 in NYC. Then Happy Tears, starring Parker Posey and Demi Moore, and directed by Mitchell Lichtenstein, will be screened this February at the prestigious Berlinale film festival in Germany. Next, Rob Margolies' Lifelines will premiere on April 3.

Each of these films represents a new milestone in the burgeoning film scoring career of Robert Miller. There's more in the works, so stay tuned for updates!





7/22/08 - Two commercials scored by Robert Miller were nominated for Outstanding Commercial at this year's Emmy Awards. You can watch "Delivery" by Traveler's and "It's Mine" by Coke in Robert's commercial reel.





7/14/08 - Robert has begun work on Happy Tears, the next film by Teeth director, Mitchell Lichtenstein. The film stars Demi Moore, Parker Posey, Ellen Barkin, and Rip Torn.





7/8/08 - Teeth, directed by Mitchell Lichtenstein and scored by Robert Miller, is out on DVD.




7/1/08 - Wherever You Are, directed by Rob Margolies and scored by Robert Miller, won "Best Feature" at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival.





6/24/08 - The XBox Halo3 "Diorama" commercial, with music arranged by Robert Miller, won a Bronze Lion at Cannes for Best Use of Music. Watch it here.




6/3/08 - Trumbo, directed by Peter Askin and scored by Robert Miller, arrives in theaters June 27! It's being released by Samuel Goldwyn Films. Watch the trailer here.




5/6/08 - Robert won a Silver Award in the 2008 District 15 Addy Awards for his music in Crest's "Puppets."




5/2/08 - One of the films that Robert scored, The Caller, won the "Made in NY" Narrative Award at Tribeca.
